On September 17th, Abigail Baker will be taking on a 16-mile run in aid of R.A.B.I.
Last year, Abigail completed the Bournemouth Half Marathon to raise £389.50 for the charity. Not done with fundraising, she decided to do something new in 2017. “I felt I needed to up the challenge,” she said.
Abigail settled on the Purbeck 16, which starts and finishes in Swanage. To date, she’s already raised more than £250.
Farming is a large part of Abigail’s life. She said: “I live in a farming community. My husband is a farmworker and one of my best friends has her own dairy. Thankfully, they are both well but I think R.A.B.I does an amazing job at helping those in need. We never know what’s around the corner buts it’s great to know there is support if you need it.”
