The Derbyshire committee enjoyed an antiques evaluation evening at Hansons Auction Centre at Etwall, Derby. The event raised £700.
More than 60 guests were welcomed by Adrian Rathbone, Associate Director and head of Fine Arts. He spoke about recent sales at the auction centre and the incredible prices some special items, such as a first edition Harry Potter book, can sell for.
Adrian Stevenson, specialist in medals and militaria, showed guests the handwritten diary of a soldier recording the events of the first day of the Battle of the Somme.
Supporters also had the chance to have their own items valued and explore the sale room. A buffet supper was supplied by the Derbyshire committee.
Thank you to committee member Sue Hall and Rachel Morley of Hansons Auction Centre for organising the event.
