Supporters in Berkshire got an insight into history on a tour of the Museum of English Rural Life in Reading. The evening raised £1,500.
Curator Dr Ollie Douglas gave a talk to 40 guests about the museum itself. Part of the University of Reading, the museum has exhibitions on British farming over the past 200 years, equipment such as wagons and diggers, and rural art including a piece of wall art from 1951 by Michael O’Connell.
Guests explored the galleries on a self-guided tour and had the chance to see historic R.A.B.I archives held at the museum.
