The Warwickshire committee raised £504 at their annual tea and cakes event.
Held at Wren Hall, a community centre in Wroxall, the team sold refreshments and cake to a number of locals. A group of 30 bikers, who had been enjoying the weather on their ride, stopped by to pick up a few sweet treats.
Becky Davies, regional manager for Warwickshire, said: “I’d like to thank all the committee members who baked cakes for this event. There was an impressive range of treats, from a cappuccino cake to a traditional Welsh Bara Brith.
“All the funds raised will go towards helping farmers and farm workers in financial difficulty. Last year, we gave out £36,982 in grants to farming people in Warwickshire.”
