A flock of British Wool staff took to the hills to raise more than £2,400.
The team of nine trekked the 25 mile route up the three Yorkshire peaks – Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough. The challenge involves climbing more than 1,500 metres up the hills.
British Wool, based in Bradford, West Yorkshire, has been selling fleece wool internationally since 1950. Around 40,000 sheep farmers are involved with the company.
“Our team completed the 25 mile hike in just under 13 hours despite the heat. There are a few blisters and sore feet!” said a British Wool representative.
Graham Clark, Tracey Harris, Sandra Dennison, Joe Farren, Haldi Kranich-Wood, Jayne Harkness-Bones, Steve Bradley, Jean Murphy and Richard Saville made up the team.
