More than 300 staff from Brown & Co, rural property, land and business consultants, have supported RABI over the past year through a wide range of fundraising activity, from wing walks to a trek to Everest Base Camp.

Brown & Co has raised £40,010 after selecting RABI as its Charity of the Year for 2025/2026.

Colleagues across the firm’s 12 UK offices took part, raising funds and helping to build awareness of the practical, financial and emotional support RABI offers farming people. In the autumn, teams also spent time in farming communities, sharing care packages and information on how to access the charity’s support.

Fundraising activity was varied across the year. Teams organised bake sales, quizzes, game nights and a netball tournament, alongside seasonal events including a Christmas raffle, jumper day and bauble decorating.

Several colleagues also took on personal challenges. Teams from the Norwich, Holt and King’s Lynn offices completed a 12-mile coastal walk from Wells-next-the-Sea to Cley-next-to-Sea. James Brown, ABC Partner in the Banbury office, completed a 12-day trek to Everest Base Camp.

Other fundraising included a wing walk by Steve Willerton, Surveyor based in Brown & Co’s Bury St Edmunds office, and Annie Round, Land Agent in the Lincoln office, completing the Leaden Boot Marathon, both contributing to the overall total.

Andrew Fundell, Partner at Brown & Co, said:

“We are very proud of all the efforts the 340 Partners and staff at Brown & Co have made over the year to raise this fantastic total for this important charity in our rural community.

Thank you to our clients, family and friends for your incredible support in helping us fundraise for RABI.”

Paul Pirie, Head of Fundraising at RABI, said:
