Buckinghamshire RABI closed 2022 with two fantastic events, their annual Autumn Supper and annual carols evening.
The Autumn Supper was held at at The Old Thatched Inn in Adstock, near Buckingham, on Thursday 1 December. Over 70 people enjoyed a three-course meal (including Christmas turkey!) and a brilliant raffle too.
Thame Farmers Market was the setting for the carols evening on Thursday 15 December.
Led by Reverend Jenny Edmans, the evening saw audience participation in the nativity, as well as committee members Janice & Alan Read’s two dogs Duke and Shadow appearing as sheep! The Chinnor Silver Training Band provided the musical entertainment, as well as Sara Oliver on the keyboard.
The evening concluded with the committee’s autumn/winter raffle being drawn and 10 lots that were auctioned by Daniel Slade, including a long weekend in the Isle of Wight.
Guests were given mulled wine and mince pies, and everyone felt truly in the festive spirit!
