A hundred people crowded into the Thame Farmers’ Market for the annual Bucks carol service, which raised £1,283.
The Chinnor Silver Training Band provided a seasonal backdrop while Sara Oliver accompanied on the keyboard. Baby Thomas took on the role of Jesus in the nativity performance, alongside parents Charlotte and Ed Holland as Mary and Joseph. Regional manager Laura Ractliffe was angel Gabriel while Stephen Noble, head of fundraising, filled the role of innkeeper.
Daniel Slade from Thame Market ran the auction and raised £770, all while dressed as a cow. Lots included two half lambs and veterinary care for a puppy.
