Ladies from the Ceredigion committee put their feet up while the men prepared their annual Sunday lunch at the Aberaeron Rugby Club. The event raised £1,418.
The original idea for this event came from the late Christ Hunt, wife of the committee’s honorary president Stephen Hunt. One of her final wishes was for the gentlemen of the Ceredigion committee to take charge of the cooking and prepare a meal for all the ladies. The group of volunteers made that idea a reality in her honour.
Malcolm Thomas, R.A.B.I’s chairman, joined the men and waited on tables throughout the evening. Numerous raffle prizes and auction items were donated by members of the Ceredigion committee and entertainment was provided by the Carmarthen Ukuleles group.
