R.A.B.I has a new face in its Oxford office – Chrissie Bonnie – who has joined as the Facilities & IT Administrator.
Chrissie is working closely with the existing teams. She said: “I look after the building. Anything to do with the practicalities – heating, electrics, contracts, and a lot more, to keep the office running. I also support the Information Systems Manager.
“At the moment, I’m working closely with the HR team to take over certain tasks and they’ve been amazing. Everyone in the office has made me feel so welcome.”
Chrissie previously worked for the Church Mission Society for nine years, where she organised events. After that role, she worked at Thames Water and Kings Education in Oxford.
She added: “I wanted to get back into the non-profit sector. There’s a different feel to working in a charity – the passion and care. There’s nothing else like it.
“I’m thrilled to be here. What everyone does here links together, from the welfare officers to the regional managers, to help farming people.”
Outside of work, Chrissie volunteers at the University Church of St Mary’s in Oxford, where she helps organise events. She’s also a big football fan, supporting Tottenham Hotspur, and until recently played five-a-side.
