Agricultural machinery manufacturer, CLAAS, is supporting RABI by making its conference centre and meeting rooms, on Saxham Business Park near Bury St Edmonds, available to agricultural-based organisations in return for a charitable donation.
“RABI is incredibly grateful to CLAAS for their support through this fantastic initiative,” says fundraising officer, Leanne Sinclair. “As a charity, collaborations with companies like CLAAS can have a big impact on the services RABI is able to deliver. We hope the local business community uses the space CLAAS is providing and support farming people at the same time.”
Trevor Tyrrell from CLAAS says, “As a family owned business, we are proud of our agricultural heritage so it makes sense to support the UK’s leading farming charity. We also feel it is important that the agricultural community are able to make use of the fantastic facilities that we have available, conveniently located on the A14. It’s definitely a win/win for everyone involved.”
CLAAS’ new state-of-the-art headquarters opened in October 2020 and has a range of flexible meeting and conference rooms. Any business involved in agriculture can book a meeting or conference room by emailing email@example.com or calling 01284 763100.
Fundraising donations help RABI to deliver an evolving range of support services, with the charity most recently introducing in-person counselling and mental health training for the farming community.
