Cows On Tour kicked off their fundraising efforts for R.A.B.I and the DPJ Foundation with a trip into the Dan Yr Ogof Caves.
For the past five years, the group has been educating children about farming and where their food comes from. From May 13 to 19, they will be taking the farmyard into five schoolyards around Wales. Find out more about the tour here.
The event at the Dan Yr Ogof Caves included activities to teach children about different parts of farming, such as milking, grain milling, and seed planting. The land around the caves is home to what is thought to be the oldest farm in Wales and includes a reconstruction of an Iron Age farm.
The next fundraising challenge for Cows On Tour is a hike up Snowdon on May 4 with their entire model farm in tow.
