Members of the ‘Crazy Life of a Farmer’s Wife’ group from all over Britain came together at Hatherley Manor in Gloucestershire for a ball, which helped to raise £1,804 shared between R.A.B.I and the Air Ambulance.
The group was set up by Chloe Williams after she married a farmer and had her first child. She found herself feeling lonely and isolated, so turned to social media to connect with others in similar situations and was overwhelmed by the response from fellow farming women.
Chloe’s enterprise earned national recognition when she was a finalist in the Countryfile Farming Hero Award 2018. The Crazy Life of a Farmer’s Wife now has 5,000 members who support each other using Facebook.
