David’s wife, Rosemary, was the vice-chair of the Carmarthenshire committee. She was an active and generous member and had looked forward to taking the role of chair, but health issues caused her to step down. She sadly passed away last November.
In lieu of flowers, David asked for friends and family to make donations at Rosemary’s funeral. He decided to donate this money towards the charity that his wife cared so much about.
Linda Jones, regional manager, said: “Rosemary was a much loved and stalwart member of the Carmarthenshire county committee. Rosemary was a very warm and generous lady and always had a smile on her face. She is very sadly missed.”
