Derbyshire county committee members and regional manager Bekah Anstey attended the Farmers Harvest Festival on 16 October at the Bakewell Livestock Market’s Agricultural Business Centre.
“I thoroughly enjoyed the service and meeting so many members of the farming community,” said Bekah. “It my first harvest festival since joining RABI earlier in the year.”
Attendees were treated to listening to Bel Canto and St Anne’s Church Choir. The event also featured several guest speakers including Dave Ransom, Revd. Alan Robson of Lincolnshire Rural and Agricultural Chaplaincy, Youlgrave Church Warden Brenda Harrop, Ella Walker of Bakewell Young Farmers, Associate Agricultural Chaplain Revd. Pete Evans and Revd. Alan Griggs.
