Supporters donned their suits and frocks for the 15th annual Devon Spring Ball, held at the Langstone Cliff Hotel in Dawlish Warren. The event raised £1,757, bringing the total generated over the last 15 years to £27,226.
More than 100 guests turned out for the event and tucked into a three-course meal served by the hotel staff.
John Smith led the auction, with lots including a five-course dinner at the Cottage Hotel and a hamper donated by a young farmers club. Pam Wills, South West Regional Manager, spoke to the guests about R.A.B.I’s work in Devon. The night ended with music from band Spinach with Norman.
John Yeoman, Devon committee member and organiser of the ball, said: “A big thank you to all who donated auction lots and raffle prizes to support the charity. It was another successful and happy occasion!”
Next year’s spring ball is set for February 26.
