HRH The Prince of Wales opened the first digital Royal Welsh Show, which took the place of the annual event held in Llanelwedd.
The show boasted a range of exciting exhibitions, including a recorded performance by stunt horse riders the Ukranian Cossacks. Welsh farmer Gareth Wyn Jones joined the BBC to produce ‘The Story of the Royal Welsh Show’ – a look back on the show’s history since its establishment in 1904.
Suzy Deeley, Corporate Partnership Manager, joined the FUW discussion panel on mental health alongside FUW President Ian Rickman, David Williams from FCN, Emma Picton-Jones of The DPJ Foundation and Gareth Davies from Tir Dewi.
Suzy spoke about the work R.A.B.I does to support mental wellbeing by relieving financial stress and the charity’s planned counselling service due to launch later this year. The discussion can be viewed on the Royal Welsh Show’s website.
As part of the show’s charity support, the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society launched their 20 in 20 campaign. Supporters were encouraged to complete 20 physical activities over 20 days. Donations can still be made via Just Giving.
