With all the razzmatazz the festive season brings, it’s often forgotten that farming people are out there in all weathers, every day of the year, providing food for our tables. This Christmas there will be many in our farming community who won’t have enough money to heat their homes and will not be able to put a nourishing meal on their farmhouse table.

• £40 could help to keep a farming family warm over the Christmas period.
• £75 could provide a Christmas food package so they don’t go hungry over the festive period.
