R.A.B.I has joined the award winning Giveacar scheme which raises money for UK charities by scrapping and selling old vehicles and farm machinery.

Giveacar was established in January 2010 as a non-profit social enterprise and to date has raised more than £1.5 million in donations for over 1,300 regional and national charities.

How it works

Fast, free collection of any car, nationwide!

Regardless of the condition, Giveacar will arrange free collection of the vehicle and then either sell it at auction or scrap it, with proceeds raised going to the owner’s chosen charity. Even if the vehicle is scrapped, it still raises between £35 and £50.

And it doesn’t just cover cars – Giveacar will also accept ride-on lawnmowers, farm machinery, vans, motorbikes and lorries.

So not only does the Giveacar scheme offer a simple, environmentally-friendly way of getting rid of unwanted vehicles, you can also raise funds for R.A.B.I at the same time.
