Luck was on Chris Orrin’s side at the annual Essex clay shoot. Not only did his team – Badnocks Farm – win the day, he also won the highest individual score and first prize in the raffle.
The clay shoot, now in its third year, was held at Forest Lodge Farm, Ingatestone and raised £1,586. Teams of four took part in the 50 bird shoot competition and were treated with a BBQ, followed by a raffle.
Peter Hickling, Essex committee secretary, said: “Our grateful thanks to the Wreathall family for hosting this event on their farm and to our fantastic supporters Whirtledge & Nott and APL Tractors.”
