R.A.B.I said farewell to Trustee Stephen Miles (pictured above centre at the 2019 Suffolk Show), who completed his second four-year term this month.
Stephen, a third-generation farmer from Suffolk, was instrumental in helping to oversee the major redevelopment project at Manson House, which was underway when he joined the Board of Trustees. Stephen knew Manson House, where his mother was a resident for 10 years, and as a boy he used to call at the home with boxes of produce from the family farm at Christmas time.
A former High Sheriff of Suffolk he is now Deputy Lieutenant in the county and was also President of the Suffolk Show in 2019 – where a cocktail party he organised raised £3,000 for R.A.B.I.
Staff throughout R.A.B.I join the Chair and trustees in thanking Stephen for the outstanding commitment that he has given over the past eight years in support of the charity’s work.
Stephen said: “It has been such a privilege to be a trustee and I wish the charity well for the future.”
