Thank you for helping FarmersAid reach more people

FarmersAid has now been downloaded more than 5,000 times, marking an important milestone for the initiative since the app launched at the Royal Cornwall Show in June. Downloads continue to rise, showing growing interest in practical guidance for serious on-farm incidents.

Strong engagement across the summer

The milestone follows a busy programme of engagement across the summer show circuit. Following the launch at the Royal Cornwall Show, FarmersAid has been introduced to visitors at Cereals, Groundswell, the Great Yorkshire Show and the Royal Welsh Show.

Many visitors took part in the Tourniquet Challenge, which demonstrates the importance of early action when someone is experiencing severe bleeding. These conversations have helped people understand how FarmersAid can provide clear, step-by-step guidance while emergency services are on their way.

Reaching 5,000 downloads reflects the collective effort of everyone involved in launching, promoting and demonstrating FarmersAid. Thank you to all colleagues and volunteers who have supported the initiative.

Supporting emergency preparedness

FarmersAid was developed to put practical, structured emergency guidance directly into the hands of farming people. Reaching this milestone shows encouraging engagement with the initiative and provides a strong foundation for its continued development.

The next phase of FarmersAid

Reaching 5,000 downloads marks further progress through the first phase of FarmersAid.

Looking ahead to 2027, work is continuing the development of practical training and purpose-designed Critical Care Kits. These will build on the guidance available through the app and strengthen preparedness across the farming community.

Colleagues can support this work by continuing to share FarmersAid through their professional and community networks.

FarmersAid remains free to download from the Apple App Store and Google Play.
