R.A.B.I’s East Yorkshire committee hosted a picnic with a twist and raised £1,200. Held at Broomhill Farm in Hull, their ‘G & Tea’ event proved itself to be a favourite with over 100 guests joining in the fun.
The committee filled large picnic baskets with an array of delicious snacks, one for each table, and treated guests to a complimentary G&T while they tucked in. A pudding of G&T jelly and lemon ice-cream followed the meal.
The Jelly Roll Jazz Band, a Scarborough-based quartet, entertained guests while they tried out the gin bar. They also helped to announce the raffle draw in a unique way, with a foghorn.
