On Wednesday 26 June, our Gloucestershire Committee hosted a fantastic farm walk at Calmsden Farms, thanks to the kind invitation of Mark and Jane Tufnell.
Guests were welcomed with homemade cakes, tea, coffee and fresh apple juice from the farm, followed by a brief talk about RABI and the services we offer.
Later, they enjoyed an excellent tour, learning about the farm’s history, its impressive grey partridge conservation work, stewardship options, diversifications and more.
The day concluded with a delicious feast featuring local pheasant and venison, an incredible array of salads and an Eton mess made with strawberries from the farm.
Overall, the event raised over £700 for RABI! We would like to thank everyone involved and those who came along for making it the special day it was.
