Supporters in Oxfordshire enjoyed a tour of the Haseley Court Gardens in Little Haseley, raising £860.
The gardens were designed by Nancy Lancaster, who bought Haseley Court in the 1950s after it had fallen into disrepair. She drew on her experience from her former homes at Ditchley Park and Kelmarsh Hall to create the renowned gardens, which feature a topiary chess set. Nancy later moved into the coach house on the estate, where she lived out the rest of her days.
Mr and Mrs Heyward, who now own the home, told guests about the history of Haseley Court while they enjoyed tea and cake in the coach house. They then led supporters on a tour of the gardens, before finishing the evening with a glass of wine.
