Members of R.A.B.I’s Shropshire committee served up sausage baps to players after the ninth hole of the fundraiser, now a popular fixture on the regional golfing calendar. Players also received bacon rolls and coffee on arrival and a two-course meal after the golf.
The main sponsors of the golf day were Agri Advisor Solicitors. Awel Mai, from Agri Advisor’s Welshpool office, attended the event to present the awards.
Linda Jones, R.A.B.I regional manager for Wales, said: “We are delighted that the day generated over £2,500 for R.A.B.I. Agri Advisor, the event’s main sponsors, are very much aware of the challenges faced by many farming families in today’s world and I’d personally like to thank them for supporting this event once again.”
Becky Davies, R.A.B.I regional manager for North Wales, added: “We had a fantastic day and lots of people contributed to the success, including Henlle Park Golf Club, our wonderful hosts. Fundraisers like this one really do help us to change lives in the farming sector for the better.”
