Supporters in Hertfordshire enjoyed a British beef dinner at the Cottered Village Hall, raising £1,775
More than 100 guests were welcomed with a glass of fizz, donated by Ivor and Linda Williams. Local chef and butcher Julian Clark served a selection of beef joints on his mobile roaster.
A quiz tested the attendees’ knowledge of British beef, with an added St George’s day twist to celebrate the holiday. Between courses, guests played a game of heads and tails to win a hamper filled with locally sourced food.
