The Addington Fund provides homes to farming families living in England and Wales who have to leave the industry, through no fault of their own.

Mental Health and Wellbeing


Samaritans is a 24 hour confidential emotional support service for anyone in the UK and Ireland who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, or are at risk of suicide.

The DPJ Foundation

The DPJ Foundation supports mental health problems through a 24/7 call line 0800 587 4262. They provide fully funded counselling in Wales and provide Mental health awareness training. They have volunteers across Wales.

Stay Alive is a mobile app developed by Grass Roots Suicide Prevention. The app provides information about suicide prevention as well as a directory of where to find help.

Staying Safe offers online resources for people experiencing suicidal thoughts to help keep them safe, including making a safety plan.

The YANA Project

Support for farmers in Norfolk, Suffolk and Worcestershire struggling with stress and depression. They also have an online directory of where to find help.


FarmWell is an online support service set up by FCN. It offers a collection of resources to maintain personal and business health.

Farm Safety


The Health and Safety Executive's website provides information and guidance on how to be safe on a farm. They also publish statistics on the number of accidents and/or deaths on farms.

Yellow Wellies

Also known as the Farm Safety Foundation, the Yellow Wellies provides guidance on how to be safe on the farm. They also raise awareness about the physical and mental wellbeing of farmers during their 'Mind Your Head' and 'Farm Safety Week' campaigns.

Tenant Farmers' Association

The Tenant Farmers’ Association (TFA) acts on behalf of tenant farmers, lobbies Government on tenant issues, and gives professional advice to members.
