It was a most enjoyable evening, with the music provided by the outstanding Inspirations Choir, along with mulled wine and canapes for guests.
Our deepest gratitude goes to Peter & Leanda De Lisle for their warm welcome and the use of their lovely home; to Bradgate Business Support and other local businesses for their sponsorship; to Nieves Lovatt for the delicious range of canapes and mince pies; to everyone who attended the event and gave so generously to the raffle which raised over £1,000.
Two cheque presentations were also made to RABI during the evening, together totalling £4,500.
Our sincere thanks go to Richard Tyacke, who gave a donation from sales of his book ‘The Life Story of a Farmer Born to Hunt’ which includes memorable moments and associated stories taken from his diaries spanning nearly 60 years.
Our sincere thanks also go to Henry Mumford, Chairman of the Market Bosworth Agricultural, Horticultural & Equestrian Society, which has sadly closed as a charity. As a result of the closure, the Society’s funds have been equally dispersed between charities nominated by committee members who attended the Society’s final official meeting.
