On a sunny summer afternoon, Leicestershire RABI welcomed guests to its annual Summer Garden Party at Bilstone Mill, kindly hosted by Steve and Toni.
The beautiful setting beside the mill stream provided a wonderful backdrop for the afternoon. Guests enjoyed a hog roast from W. Taylor Butchers of Appleby Magna, served with a selection of salads, followed by strawberries and cream and ice cream from local producer Dreamy Cow Farmhouse Ice Cream.
A successful raffle, together with several generous donations, brought the total raised to £2,000.
Thank you to the event sponsors, Crane & Walton Solicitors, Bradgate Business Support, Longcliffe Quarries and a local farming family. The Leicestershire committee would also like to thank Steve and Toni, and everyone who attended or contributed to making the afternoon such a success.
