We are delighted to have received donations totalling over £4,260 from Lincolnshire Co-op after being nominated as one of their Community Champions by several stores for their December 2015 to March 2016 collection.
Each quarter, Co-op stores choose to support three local charities and then every time a customer shops using their Co-op dividend card, a donation is made to their chosen Community Champion.
We would like to extend our thanks to shoppers at Co-op stores in Willoughby Rd, Gainsborough, Queen Elizabeth Road, Lincoln, Roman Bank, Chapel St Leonards, Skegness, Washingborough and Holton le Clay for choosing R.A.B.I.
The Co-op also adds to the pot all of the 5p charges it collects for carrier bags following changes in the law.
Milly Fyfe, R.A.B.I’s East Midlands Regional Manager was delighted to receive the donations: “We are so grateful for the members of the Lincolnshire Co-op for choosing to support R.A.B.I. through the Community Champions scheme. The funds raised will make such a difference to Lincolnshire farming families.”
