R.A.B.I treated fifty guests to an exclusive tour of Moor Wood in Woodmancote near Cheltenham and raised £825.
Moor Wood is home to the national collection of rambler roses and boasts more than 150 types of roses in its grounds. Mr and Mrs Robinson, who own Moor Wood, led R.A.B.I supporters on a tour of their home. Not only were guests treated to views of the flowers, they also explored the wild flower meadow, walled garden, sweeping lawns and orchard.
R.A.B.I’s Gloucestershire committee served homemade cakes, tea, coffee, and Pimms to guests while they relaxed on the patio, overlooking the grounds. In keeping with the theme, they also ran a ‘guess the number of roses’ competition, with chocolate roses in a watering can, which raised £78.
