Hampshire volunteers enjoyed three days at the New Forest Show, where they raised £758.
Situated in the food and local produce area, the R.A.B.I stand welcomed hundreds of visitors. A Ferguson tractor, loaned by Benjamin Parker from River Bourne Community Farm, was a popular attraction and a number of visitors, both young and old, climbed aboard.
The Hunts Forest Group, joined by agents from John Deere, held a ‘guess the number of balloons in the tractor’ competition on their stand, which generated £203.
Sally Field, regional manager for the South East, said: “Thank you to all our volunteers who helped out, and special thanks to John and Caroline Korbey for setting up and manning the stand during the show.”
