Laura Ractliffe (pictured) is R.A.B.I’s new regional manager for the South Central counties. She’ll be covering Buckinghamshire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire, with the addition of Berkshire, which has moved from the South East region.
“I love working in agriculture, it’s one of my passions,” said Laura, who grew up on a dairy and beef farm near Stroud in Gloucestershire. “I still help out on the farm when I have time.”
Before coming to R.A.B.I, Laura studied at the University of Worcester to be a primary teacher. After graduating, she moved to Australia for two years to work as a nanny. Laura is also the club secretary for the Painswick young farmers.
She added: “I’m looking forward to meeting all of the committee members and putting names to faces. I already know a few in Gloucestershire, but it’ll be exciting to get involved with the other counties.
“One of my first events will be the Thame Christmas carols, where I’ll be narrating the nativity performance as angel Gabriel.”
