NFU South Lakes hosted a dinner with a dance and raised £3,300, beating their total from last year’s event.
More than 150 guests joined R.A.B.I and the NFU at the Castle Green Hotel, a 19th century building in Kendal. They enjoyed a wonderful meal, provided by the hotel, and were entertained by the live band Boomerang, with vocals from NFU Mutual’s Chris James. The performance had the dance floor packed all night.
Georgina Lamb, regional manager for the North West, said: “Many thanks to NFU’s Natalie Dennison, Derek Lomax, Chris James and Andrew Pye for organising and coordinating a great night! Special thanks also to Julie Gillespie from Barclays for match funding the evening.”
