Twenty teams raced around the Whilton Mill track for the annual go-karting event in Daventry. The evening raised £1,657.
Organised by the Northamptonshire committee, the event invited corporates to compete in a two hour endurance challenge around the go-kart track in perfect weather conditions. More than 70 drivers took to the tarmac.
Chairman David Hutchinson (left) presented the top three teams with their prizes. The winning team comprised Pete, Richard and Paul Burbage and Rupert Gardner (pictured above) from agricultural contractors P & R Burbage. They were one of three teams from the company, with the other two teams earning 13th and 19th places – not quite last!
Second place went to the team from Amet Property and ‘Beer Belly Racing’ claimed third place.
Thank you to the staff at Whilton Mill for looking after the competitors.
