Rosemary Rees and Hilary Raymond (pictured) won the Welsh regional prize at R.A.B.I’s annual awards ceremony.
The sisters, from Pembrokeshire, have supported R.A.B.I for many years and joined the ladies committee in their home county when it was first established. They successfully lobbied the Pembrokeshire Show to nominate R.A.B.I as one of its chosen charities. Rosemary runs the R.A.B.I stand during the show.
Hilary said: “I would like to thank everyone at R.A.B.I for this recognition. We both feel humbled and are truly grateful. We both know the importance of a charity that supports the agricultural industry.”
“They’ve always placed R.A.B.I first,” said Malcolm Thomas, R.A.B.I chairman.
