A charity dinner celebrating poultry producers in the South West raised £6,683 for R.A.B.I and Action Medical Research.
Held at the Exeter Chiefs’ rugby grounds in Devon, the event was organised by the NFU and West Country Layers Association (WCLA). Rob Kitson, sports journalist and rugby correspondent for The Guardian, was the guest speaker.
Pam Wills, South West Regional Manager, received a cheque for £3,341 from Rob Kitson, Stuart Young and Will White from the WCLA and South West NFU poultry adviser Will Frazer.
