RABI was delighted to welcome Steve Reed, Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Secretary of State and Farming Minster Daniel Zeichner to its stand at last week’s Great Yorkshire Show. Mr Reed and Mr Zeichner spoke enthusiastically with RABI staff as part of their first high-profile outing amongst the agricultural community since taking up their ministerial positions in the newly formed Government.
RABI Chief Executive Alicia Chivers and Mr Reed discussed the collaborative power of the third sector as well as the ‘important work’ RABI undertakes to support the farming community, whilst RABI’s Volunteer team chatted with Mr Zeichner about the charity’s fantastic work in community engagement.
RABI looks forward to working closely with government as the charity strives to uplift the wellbeing of our farming community.
