A Plough Sunday service held at Reaseheath College in Nantwich raised £250.
The service was conducted by Rev Anne Lawson, Vicar of the cross country parishes of Acton, Church Minshull, Worleston and Wettenhall. The congregation included college staff and students, farmers, and popular guest Rex the dog, owned by Cheshire committee member John Parkin. After the service, guests tucked into a hot soup lunch.
Georgina Lamb, regional manager for the North West, said: “I’d like to thank Rev Anne Lawson for organising and leading the service and Cheshire committee secretary Margaret Lawson for her homemade treats.”
