From 4 to 10 March, students at the Royal Agricultural University organised a series of fundraising activities in support of RABI, as part of their Raising and Giving (RAG) week.

Events included a charity football match, a tractor pull through Cirencester Park, an auction and a rally to Cardiff. Together, these efforts raised £4,000 to support RABI’s work with farming people.

Robin Brown, RAU Students’ Union President 2025/26, said:

“As a students’ union that represents agriculture students and the next generation of farmers, we felt it only right to raise money for a cause that helps those who feed the nation. The work that RABI do for farmers, by way of grants, counselling and independent living support, was the reason we chose to support them this fundraising week.”

RABI would like to thank all students at the Royal Agricultural University who organised, took part in and supported the week’s activities.

The funds raised will contribute to RABI’s work providing practical, financial and emotional support to farming people across England and Wales.
