On Thurday 17 March, Staffordshire RABI Committee and supporters were welcomed to the Staffordshire County Showground for the annual dinner. With over 400 guests, there was wonderful support for RABI.
Amanda Owen, known better by many as the Yorkshire Shepherdess, delivered an inspirational speech, with guests hanging on her every word.
Amanda spoke of her incredible journey, tales of the family farm and her passion for British agriculture. Amanda’s straight talking nature, humour and connection with all the guests resulted in a particularly successful evening.
Staffordshire YFC ran a raffle, raising over £1,300, and guest auctioneer, Mike Williams, added a further £2,100 to the funds as he auctioned off 14 lots.
The overall profit was £14,220, so a special thanks to the Staffordshire RABI Committee for this amazing post pandemic comeback.
