Storm Dennis couldn’t stop supporters attending the annual Bucks Farmers Ball, held at Whittlebury Hall, Towcester.

While the wind outside reached speeds of 50 mph, guests enjoyed welcome drinks, a three-course meal, and entertainment from Sara Oliver on the harp. Band Rollercoaster then kept people dancing long into the night.

The event was organised by the Bucks Farmers Ball committee, who have raised funds for R.A.B.I in previous years. South Central Regional Manager Laura Ractliffe attended the ball.

Daniel Slade from Thame Farmers Market led the auction, with lots such as a three-night stay in a yurt in North Wales and a weekend helicopter ride. A raffle and ‘voucher tree’ contributed to funds raised.
