This year marked the 25th anniversary of R.A.B.I’s Suffolk committee’s annual spring lunch. To help celebrate the occasion, the McVeigh family opened up their home and gardens, Kenton Hall in Suffolk, and welcomed guests. £2,054 was raised.
Committee members, past and present, gathered under the marquee to reminisce and were treated to a glass of fizz. They also had the chance to explore the beautiful gardens, before a hog roast was served. Following dinner was a feast of strawberries with ice cream donated by Suffolk Meadow Ice Cream.
Guests took part in an array of fun activities and garden games, including a raffle, a treasures smarties challenge, and a ‘guess the bottle’ game. Current committee members also baked a special R.A.B.I cake.
Lucy Bellefontaine, regional manager for the East, said: “Many thanks to all the committee members, past and present, for their continued help and support of R.A.B.I. Without their help these events would not be a success.”
