Supporters in Bedfordshire raised more than £1,000 at the county’s second annual clay shoot.
Held at Sporting Targets in Riseley, the event invited ten teams to take part in the competition. The results were close, but team Kingham won the day with a narrow one point lead. Mark Thompson was the top gun and Ivor Fothergill won top junior.
At the end of the day, a sweepstake to guess the number of clays shot was held. The correct answer was 793!
Thank you to Farmers & Mercantile and JF Agricultural for their generosity in supporting this event. The funds raised will go towards those in the farming community who are struggling financially.
