Terry Davy, treasurer of the West Sussex committee, won the South East regional prize for his 15 years of service to R.A.B.I. He collected his award from Stuart Roberts, NFU vice president, at the charity’s awards ceremony in Oxfordshire.
Deputy chairman Joshua Hosier said: “Terry is extremely organised and meticulous in looking after the committee’s accounts, providing detailed records on each event, attending all the meetings, and sharing this information with all the committee which keeps them updated and enthused on their progress.
“After his many years of service to R.A.B.I, Terry is sadly retiring from his role and will be very much missed. R.A.B.I is just one of the voluntary roles which fill Terry’s life and we are very fortunate and thankful to have benefitted from his patience and support.”
