RABI were delighted to be the chosen charity partner at this year’s Oxford Farming Conference (8-10 January). As part of the event, the charity hosted a lively and engaging tea-time partner session on Thursday 9 January featuring guest speaker Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones.
Known as The Black Farmer, Wilfred spoke to a captivated audience on his inspiring journey of resilience, diversity, and innovation in farming, offering fresh perspectives on thriving in a changing agricultural world.
RABI Chief Executive Alicia Chivers introduced the session with an informative speech on how RABI is continually evolving to support farming people during times of change. Wilfred’s guest talk was followed by a question-and-answer session with his audience, chaired by RABI Head of Fundraising Paul Pirie.
RABI and The Black Farmer were among more than 30 visionary speakers and organisations at OFC25 delivering talks and sessions on the theme Facing Change: Finding Opportunity.
