Charity clay shoot winners Guy Lewis and Andrew and Edward Morris generously donated their £100 first prize back to event hosts R.A.B.I at Broxwood in Leominster. After seeing off 12 rival teams, their donation meant the charity raised £1,236.40 on the day.
The clay shoot was organised by the Brecon & Radnor committee at the Upper Wettons home of committee members Richard and Margaret Gwilliam. Organisers even laid on a two-course supper for competitors after the serious business was over.
Elaine Stephens, chair of the Brecon & Radnor committee, said: “Putting on an event like this involves a considerable amount of work, but Richard and Margaret did a wonderful job.”
The Leominster clay shoot was supported by estate agents McCartneys.
