West Sussex supporters Tina and Clive Strickland hosted a felting workshop at their home in Wisborough Green, raising £426.
Guests sat around a big farmhouse table, making keyrings and felted sheep faces from local wool. Homemade cakes, biscuits, soup and scones kept everyone’s stomachs full throughout the day.
Sally Field, regional manager for the South East, said: “It was great to be able to chat and educate a new group of people about the work of R.A.B.I and the workings of the countryside.
“Tina is such a skilled and patient teacher. She taught us a lot about the value and uses of wool, how it’s versatile and eco-friendly as well as supportive of the farming industry.”
