William Hyde is preparing to take on an extraordinary five-day ultra marathon challenge, running 265km from the Western Sahara to Marrakesh in support of RABI.

The challenge will see Will run across desert and mountainous terrain, all while raising funds to support farming people across England and Wales.

Will is undertaking the challenge in memory of his friend, Harley Pearce, who was part of the farming community in Wiltshire and ran his own agricultural contracting business. Harley sadly died following a tractor incident in 2025, aged 21.

Through this challenge, Will hopes to honour Harley's memory while raising awareness of the importance of supporting farming people and the challenges many can face.

Funds raised through the challenge will help RABI continue providing practical, financial and emotional support to farming people across England and Wales.

Will is aiming to raise £5,000 for the charity.

Speaking about the challenge, Will said he wanted to do something meaningful in Harley's memory while supporting a cause closely connected to the farming community.

Every donation will help RABI continue delivering vital support services to farming people, whenever they are needed most.
